FrequentlyAsked Questions

1) What is the difference between Keratin Treatment and Floractive Nanoplasty Straightening System?

Compared with conventional keratin systems, our Nanoparticles are approximately 750 times smaller, allowing the nutrients to penetrate deeper into the hair fibre and treat the hair without opening the cuticle.

This eliminates the need for an anti-residue shampoo, making it a fast and effective one-step system, providing clients the freedom to colour, bleach, swim in pools, and enjoy the ocean frequently, all without compromising the quality or effectiveness of the treatment.

2) How long does the Floractive Nanoplasty treatment last?

The Floractive Nanoplasty treatment can last up to 8-12 months, providing long-lasting straightening results. The exact duration may vary depending on individual hair type and maintenance.

3) Is Floractive Nanoplasty safe for hair?

Yes, Floractive Nanoplasty is considered safe for hair. It does not contain harmful chemicals like formaldehyde. All the ingredients are natural, and the components responsible for straightening the hair are amino acids and organic acids.

4) Will the Floractive Nanoplasty procedure damage the hair?

No, it will not. Floractive Nanoplasty solutions are formulated with various organic acids, amino acids, oils, butters, waxes, silicones, and hydrolysed vegetable proteins, which restore all the necessary nutrients for recovering hair health and beauty, healing the hair from the inside out.

5) Can people with very sensitive skin, including pimples and other dermatological problems, undergo Floractive Nanoplasty?

It depends. We strongly recommend discussing this condition with a doctor first. The pH level of Floractive Nanoplasty is low, ranging from 2.5 to 3.5, which may cause discomfort if the product comes into contact with the scalp, especially for clients with a sensitive scalp.

For clients with an extra sensitive scalp or psoriasis, we recommend applying the product slightly away from the roots to minimise direct contact with the scalp and skin. If necessary, Moringa Oil can also be applied around the hairline and sensitive areas before the application to help protect the skin.

If authorised by a doctor, please inform your hairdresser about this condition so they can adjust the application accordingly.

6) Do I have to use specific after care products after Floractive Nanoplasty?

After your Floractive Nanoplasty treatment, it is highly recommended to maintain your results with Floractive's W One Shampoo, W One 3-in-1 Conditioner, Moringa Oil, W Protection, and Morocco Mask.

For ongoing at-home care, the Floractive Premium and Urban lines are also excellent choices. These products are specially formulated to extend the longevity of your Nanoplasty treatment while providing essential nutrients to keep your hair healthy, smooth, shiny, and deeply nourished for up to 12 months.

It is not recommended to use sulphate-free shampoos after a Floractive Nanoplasty treatment. Floractive Nanoplasty is specifically designed to work best with professional salon-quality shampoos and conditioners that contain a balanced amount of high-quality sulphates, ensuring optimal performance and longer-lasting results.

7) Can I perform the Floractive Nanoplasty treatment on breastfeeding women?

Although Floractive Nanoplasty is developed with high safety standards, we recommend that breastfeeding women consult their doctor before undergoing any hair treatment. We also strongly recommend that the procedure is performed by a qualified Nanoplasty specialist trained by Floractive, following the correct application protocol and professional guidelines for use.

8) Is Floractive Nanoplasty safe for kids?

Floractive Nanoplasty is developed with high safety standards. However, we do not recommend the treatment for children under 12 years old.

For clients under 18, the procedure should always be authorised and supervised by a parent or legal guardian, and performed by a qualified Nanoplasty specialist trained by Floractive, following the correct professional protocol.

9) Is Floractive Nanoplasty a vegan-friendly and cruelty-free product?

Yes, Floractive Nanoplasty is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and Halal approved. It is formulated with natural ingredients and does not involve animal testing.

10) How long will it take to perform the Floractive Nanoplasty treatment?

Depending on the length and thickness of the hair, it will take approximately 3 to 4.5 hours.

11) When is it important to perform pre-treatments?

We recommend two different pre-treatments:

A. Apply 20 in 1 BB Cream ONLY for damaged, over-processed, and elastic hair. This is more common in blondes due to bleaching. You can also offer it as a stand-alone treatment to clients who need it.

B. Apply Macadamia Serum and Macadamia Mask for very dry hair. The Macadamia Serum is a leave-in product and should be applied where the hair is driest (only a few sprays).

The mask can be used during the last wash of the Floractive Nanoplasty treatment. Instead of using the Morroco Mask (suitable for any hair type), you can use the Macadamia Mask, which is designed for very dry hair.

You can also offer a deep treatment using the Macadamia Mask for 15 minutes, rinsing afterward, and applying the Macadamia Serum before blow-drying.

12) Can I mix Floractive Nanoplasty solutions?

Yes, all Floractive products are mixable. For recently bleached, foiled, grey or red hair, you may mix W One with W Two or Eco Reduxer. The mixing ratio can vary depending on the hair's texture, porosity and desired result.

Floractive Nanoplasty solutions can also be customised to create the correct shade and tone for each hair type, allowing the professional to personalise the formula according to the client's hair condition and desired finish.

13) Will the treatment cause my blonde client's hair to become brassy?

No, we have developed two specific formulas to address different hair types. Our W One formula is designed for dark and coloured hair, while W Two or Eco Reduxer is tailored for blonde and grey hair. Each formula considers the unique characteristics of these hair types and the specific needs of your clients.

W One can safely be used on dark, natural, and coloured hair below level 7. W Two or Eco Reduxer, on the other hand, is formulated for blonde and grey hair, effectively preventing any brassy tones. To avoid brassiness, it's essential to pay attention to the heat applied during the process. Using the appropriate equipment and maintaining the correct temperature are crucial.

14) How soon can my clients colour their hair after having done Floractive Nanoplasty?

Clients can colour their hair from the same day as the treatment using ammonia-based colour; however, the services should be carried out as separate procedures for best results. If done at the salon on the same day, the treatment will be performed first and after the shampooing stage at the end, follow the usual steps for colour and then finalising with either Floractive Marroco or Floractive Macadamia Mask.

For certain clients, it is also beneficial to incorporate protective and restorative products, such as Flora Plex as a chemical protector and the 20-in-1 BB Cream as a reconstructor, to help maintain hair strength and integrity throughout the process.

15) How soon can my clients bleach their hair after having done Floractive Nanoplasty?

For bleaching, it's recommended to wait 2 weeks before or after Floractive Nanoplasty. For some clients, it is important to use chemical protectors such as Flora Plex and reconstructors like the 20 in 1 BB Cream.

16) Which products should I recommend for use after Floractive Nanoplasty?

After the Floractive Nanoplasty treatment, it is highly recommended to use Floractive W One Shampoo, W One Conditioner 3 in 1, Moringa Oil, W Protection and Marroco Mask.

This will ensure that your client's treatment will stay smooth, silky soft and shiny for up to 12 months. It is also NOT recommended to use sulphate-free shampoo, as Floractive Nanoplasty treatments work beautifully with salon quality shampoo and conditioners that contain a healthy amount of good quality sulphates.

17) What care should I recommend after the treatment?

To achieve the best results at home, we recommend drying the hair after washing, especially for more fragile or chemically treated hair. Avoid sleeping on or tying up wet or damp hair.

If using any heat styling tools, we strongly recommend applying Floractive W Protection Heat Protector beforehand to help protect the hair fibre and maintain the longevity of the treatment.

18) How long after the Floractive Nanoplasty treatment can my client swim?

Your client can swim after the treatment. However, we strongly recommend applying Floractive Gloss Protein before swimming, as it helps create a protective barrier around the hair fibre, helping to maintain hydration and protect the longevity of the treatment against chlorine, salt water and external aggressors.

19) Can my clients tie their hair up, make a bun, or style it after the treatment?

Yes! They can style their hair as they wish. If they notice any kinks, there's no need to worry; after washing, the hair will return to being straight.

20) If I need to redo, how long should I wait after the last attempt?

You can safely redo the treatment after 1 week of the last attempt.
